In the loft of a terraced house in a town east of Manchester sit 427 gnomes. They are all dressed in satanic robes and pointing at the loft hatch. I'm still waiting for its discovery to surface in the media.
Two weeks on from the discovery of the body of a woman in Stanley Park, our enquiries remain ongoing to identify her and the person or persons responsible for her murder.
To date, we have been unable to identify the woman despite repeated public appeals.
➡️ Following forensic tests, we have been able to establish a DNA profile for the woman but there is no match on the national DNA database. It has also not been possible to compare dental records.
Detectives have been working round-the-clock to speak to potential witnesses and gather CCTV and forensic evidence.
The occupants of 625 properties in areas surrounding the park have been spoken to via house-to-house and CCTV from 30 private and commercial cameras in the area recovered.
So far, we have received 160 reports from members of the public and have eliminated 73 people from our enquiries after concerns were raised for people matching the description of the woman.
🚨 We are continuing to appeal for people to come forward with any information to help identify the woman who is described as white, believed to be around 70 years old, approximately 5ft 2in tall and of slight build, with strawberry blonde hair. She was found wearing a pink Nike T-shirt.
Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector John Fitzgerald 🗣️ “Our investigation remains ongoing and we remain determined to identity the woman and find the person or persons responsible for her murder.
“We are actively pursuing every call we receive to ensure that people are seen to be safe and well and can be eliminated from our enquiries.
“We are continuing to appeal for anyone who has been in the area of Stanley Park over recent weeks who has seen anything suspicious to contact us and also ask anyone who may have flown a drone over the park over the past couple of months to check their footage for anything significant.”

When did normal life in the UK get this expensive?
£5 coffee
£7 pint
£20 takeaway
£30 haircut
£60 tank of fuel
£100 meal out
£150 energy bill
£1,200 rent
There’s barely a luxury on that list.
Yet somehow just existing now needs a decent salary.

@jillwebb2005 Certainly was an eclectic mix of tunes. Sad the Sisters didn't place higher and my money was on the Bunnymen to take the crown.
Thank you for your time and effort, I really enjoyed taking part.
