The way I see y’all talking about Muslims/Arabs and generalizing Palestinians makes me question what you really think about Black people behind my back.

White nationalism is currently the top security threat in the U.S. (per FBI) and has taken countless lives. White terror has caused heavy loses to Black life over the centuries.

My family has experienced it. People tend to think America has never experienced real terror violence like what we’ve seen outside of our borders. But there are entire Black towns and communities that no longer exist because of white terrorism over the years in the US.

I don’t generalize white people or take the worst of them and use their actions as some excuse to justify feeling hatred for the whole group.

A lot of you who I thought were cool are saying some very racist and nasty things and are revealing that your solidarity is skin deep and never really meant much.

I’ve always tried to be an even-tempered person (and this text is even-tempered), but sometimes you have to call it as you see it.

Thank you to the folks who still support me. A lot of folks are reaching out to say thank you for what you’re doing. A Jewish-Ukrainian from Tel Aviv thank me today for my words and gave me encouragement.

It’s clear to me that the work I’m doing won’t be popular. But it’s needed and necessary.

Many people have unfollowed me and I think it’s for the best. You’re welcome to return anytime, if you’re ready to open your minds.

I’m ready to move on with the following of people I have who want to do the real cross global work of building solidarity.

In this moment, I’m working with Ukrainians, Palestinians, Israelis, Americans, Africans and others who aren’t afraid to challenge all colonialism and call it out—now, not later.

You don’t have to agree with me. If what I say bothers you. You’re free to go without telling me so.

I’m not the airport. You don’t have to make an announcement. 😉

But if you’re ready to see what cross-national solidarity looks like in times like these, join me and be on the right side of history!

We really need to stop asking Arabs and other peoples who support Palestine to denounce terrorists as if it is some sign of allegiance that proves they are not enemies of the state. Neither Rep. Tlaib nor Rep. Omar is under ANY obligation to condemn terrorists.

To say otherwise is xenophobic and it needs to stop!

We don't have the same standard for Israelis when Israel's IDF and armed settlers kill Palestinians like its hunting season.

Rep. Omar and Rep. Tlaib are not responsible for Hamas' terrorism anymore than any common white person should feel obliged to condemn white supremacists every time they target Jews, Black folks and other minorities.

No one puts white congressmen and women through this ritual of insisting they condemn white supremacists each time one of them kills someone.

Only POC are asked to speak for our entire group of people. I, for one, will not participate in it and neither should any Muslim or anyone who supports Palestine.

If you don't like their politics, then say so. But they are held to a bar that one of their colleagues are held to and I am calling that shit out.
