The more I think about it the more I feel most people would be better off (and likely see better results) if they trained more often - 20 to 30 min - rather than longer sessions less frequently.

One of the most used pieces of equipment in our facility are these great countdown timers you can get through Amazon for under $3 each. They have a magnetic backing so you can stick them to a rack and are great for timing work or rest periods.
I love "old school" baseball, but being in the performance profession that can be very limiting. If you're a stubborn old timer that doesn't like data and technology you're going to end up extinct like the rest of the dinosaurs.
