An entrepreneur was stabbed to death at a luxury flat by a man he’d spent a night out with.

Daniel Manuel, 32, was murdered in Vauxhall, London, following an argument over money with Fawaz Abdulkareem, 36, Daniel had been at a nightclub with friends when they returned to Abdulkareem’s flat, on 5 July 2025, and he was stabbed three times with a kitchen knife.
The killer, disguising the weapon in the waistband of his trousers, told staff in the building’s lobby that Daniel had been injured, then threw the knife out of the 14th floor window.

Police later noticed blood on his trousers, and CCTV footage showed him with the weapon. Abdulkareem, who later claimed he was attacked and had acted in self-defence, was jailed for life with a minimum term of 17 years.

Daniel’s wife, Zulal paid tribute to him, saying: “Daniel was not just my husband; he was my partner, my home, my emotional safety and the person I built my entire life around.
Losing him in such a violent and sudden way has completely shattered my world.
“This loss has affected every part of my life, emotionally, physically, financially and I am still trying to survive the aftermath of it.”

ALBANIAN DEALER JAILED AFTER RETURNING TO UK TWICE DESPITE DEPORTATION ORDERS

A drug dealer who repeatedly ignored deportation orders has been jailed after sneaking back into the UK for a second time and returning to crime.

Atonio Guvane, 32, was caught by police in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire, after officers spotted him acting suspiciously in a parked Ford Focus. When challenged, he gave a false name, but a search of the vehicle uncovered more than £1,000 in cash, two mobile phones and 20 bags of cannabis ready for sale.

Investigators soon discovered Guvane was living in Britain illegally under the alias Ersit Lika and had already been deported to Albania twice.

He was first removed from the UK in 2022 while serving time for drug offences, before returning in breach of a deportation order. After being caught and deported again in February last year, Guvane once more made his way back into the country without permission.

At Huntingdon Law Courts, he was sentenced to two years and two months in prison after admitting re-entering the UK illegally, possessing cannabis with intent to supply and handling criminal property.

Police said Guvane showed a blatant disregard for the law by repeatedly returning to Britain and continuing his involvement in drug dealing.
