Growing up knowing that King Oyo was the youngest king in the world was such a joy as a kid. I remember studying about him in Social Studies and being fascinated by his story, his journey, and, above all, how humble he was and remained throughout the years.

His passing has truly made me sad. It feels like the loss of someone who was part of our childhood and a symbol of an entire generation.

Death is indeed so cruel. 💔😭

Rest in peace, King Oyo. You will forever remain in our hearts.
