@XPHOENIXDRAGON China's going for the AI of things- robots. The US is going for AGI. You cant compare the two because they are what each see as winning the race. (Obviosly AGI is a superior strategy and we have more advanced chips). The hardware is secondary is secondary to AGI imo.
