Several Nord CE users requested this post and all we can do is wait and hope for @oneplus @OnePlus_IN and ColorOS devs to implement what they removed from Nord phones in terms of animations, transitions and blur elements.

I personally feel if OnePlus doesn't provide the brand new animation engine on Nord phones, that's completely fine.

But the current state of OOS on those phones is severely inferior.

Atleast give the basic animations and UX elements like older Nord phones.

4. No blur in volume control panel

Since the new volume control panel now covers the whole display, many ColorOS-based phones miss out on blur there as well.

If not for live blur like flagship phones, atleast provide a static blur.

3. No blur effect in Notification panel

Just like the App Drawer, there's no blur in notification panel.

Infact it's even worse as it displays a plain white/dark background depending on the theme.

2. No blur effect in App drawer

Newer midrange Nord phones have a transparent app drawer with a white or grey shade depending on the light/dark theme.

Previous phones like CE 3 had a nice blur in app drawer as seen in higher end OnePlus phones.

1. Apps don't launch from within the icons

When opening apps, there's just a generic zoom-in animation as seen in Android 5/6.

Older midrange ColorOS-based phones had fluent opening animations which is still very much present on high-end phones.

We got a nerfed version of OxygenOS before GTA 6!

OnePlus offers a downgraded software experience on Nord CE 4 and CE 4 Lite despite the predecessors having no such issues.
