There is one book that is one of my favorite books in the world.
This word isn't an actual word in the English dictionary, but it is in a book called "The Dictionary of Words for Obscure Sorrows"
This book is nothing but just a list of words, describing feelings that the English language does not have.
My favorite word is "SOCHA."
It is the feeling of confidence that you give to other people, yet at the same time you're not actually confident inside. You're pretty vulnerable.
I really, really like this word because one of the things that I tell myself all the time is that "Confidence is key and everything in life."
Cause I feel personally I feel like with confidence, you can do anything and no one will question it at all.
Whether you're a leader, whether you're doing something one of the most batshit insane crazy things in life, but if you just have confidence, not only will you be able to do it, but the other people around you will believe in it.
However, I think there is another side to that—which is that, you can trick yourself to be confident when you're actually not.
And I think this word encompasses it very well.
Because it's alright to be confident in front of people, but it's also alright to not be confident inside.
It can be built. It can be made. And you can trick yourself. It will help you a lot in life. But you don't necessarily have to be confident inside.
Just simply "showing" confidence. You don't have to be confident. Just showing confidence will help you a lot in life.
