Although laying the person out on a table leaves more questions. The man with the hammer has what looks like a brochure or similar in his hand. Maybe I’m being hopeful.

@NfamousKaye @kayewhitehead True. Another way to think about it would be the inscription is spoken by the chocolate “person” on the table. Instead of “to eat,” “to be eaten.” I’m interested to know from someone who speaks Polish if it could be translated that way. I used Google translate.

I’m fascinated by the continued wholesale deployment of Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale by WW since repeal of Roe v. Wade who are perhaps fearing loss of rights for WW. The book was published in 1985. Why now? Which rights? What role does surprise play here?
