@jack’s position is logical for companies whose product is information.
Tech companies are built as digital systems where AI can observe, model, and coordinate everything in real time. In that environment, hierarchy becomes a bottleneck.
But trades businesses, like the $40M company I’m involved with, are not information systems. They are execution systems operating in the physical world. The work is variable, partially observable, and risk-loaded.
AI can compress the informational layers of the business, but it cannot replace the human layers responsible for trust, judgment, and execution.
So the future of trades is not AI replacing the organization. It is AI sharpening the organization while humans still carry the risk.
In a trades world, AI can run the system.
People will still own the consequences.

@motorcitymoth@luismbat .. but we might have to entice them with more than glory and “do the right thing” messageing.. maybe like never pay taxes or something. Plus it’s pretty high stakes ask and one of the crew might be getting engaged.
I'm hiring 4 sales reps in Dallas-Fort Worth.
We finished last year at $35m in revenue in residential foundation repair. Top earners make $175K–$250K.
Not a recruiter. I'm the CEO. DM if you you're interested.
@ServiceTitan is down (shocker) .. sales operations have come to halt (again) .. and we’ve submitted tickets with no response (use to it). At least the downward stock price reflects the software performance.
@F1 movie is a fantastic movie! Great live action film work, compelling storyline, bumping soundtrack! Brad Pitt & Javier Bardem make old school cool relatable and relevant along with upcoming talent Damson Idris. Definitely a must see “in theatre” movie. See it #Imax!!
