One of so many reasons I love America… When one person or one party goes too far, the people can pull it back on track, or at least try to. That’s the power of our checks and balances. Tonight reminded me why that matters.

I never thought I’d be saying this, but Talarico deserved to win, fair and square, as did the reset or the Dems around the country. We simply went too far off course and a correction was needed.

Texans crossed party lines to vote blue. They wanted change, and they got it.

“In this state, in this country, power belongs to the people.” Such a simple concept, yet hearing it tonight made me emotional.

15 years in aviation, designing products for planes and airports. Hundreds and hundreds of flights. More turbulence than I can count…

Nothing has ever haunted me like this audio. Their final exchange….then the copilot praying in the background, right before impact…

I've replayed it again and again, putting myself in their shoes, imagining what the passengers were feeling and living through in the last minute…And the more I replay it, the more it haunts me. #Learjet60 #PlaneCrash #Learjet #PalmBeach #MarALago

Tragedy:
1. On track, approved flight plan @ 35000 feet, in contact with Air Traffic Control,
2. Requested, due to turbulence, to go up to 37,000 feet,
3. -47 degrees outside temp; pilot reported moderate icing but was managing it,
4. Multiple other aircraft, including commercial air, reported severe turbulence with injuries on other aircraft; no landings at Miami due to weather,
5. ATC maintained contact until impact,
6. Pilot advised they were banking while flying at flight-level controls,
7. In the video, it appears the rear stabilizer is missing, which would equate to a dive at 10,000 ft per second, reported by the pilot,
8. Penetrating ground impact at possibly in excess of 650 mph could be 50-75 feet before total obliteration of the aircraft
