@theonesteveman@JackMFromBoca No matter when it actually is, they’ll probably celebrate it 9/17- The Traitors starts that night on NBC, so they’ll want to counter-program it (maybe with a special looking back, maybe with a longer live episode..would be a good spot for a double eviction night)
@bigbroaccess I think it’ll be a full 8v8 newbies vs vets- maybe they shake it up early on by pairing a newbie with a vet and nominating in pairs (with the person out of a pair surviving an eviction being safe until the pairs part of the game ends in week 3 or 4)
@hamsterwatch The possible finale date makes sense- if they go in Tuesday 7/7, a 10/1 finale is an 87 day season which is about right (and the MTV awards on 9/27 won’t matter)
@hamsterwatch@JackMFromBoca let’s assume they go in Monday 7/6- 83 days like last season would be 9/27 but there’s the MTV Awards. 9/30 would work after Survivor (86 days) or 10/4 (90 days). I don’t think it’d be before 9/27 because under 80 days would be unusual..
@GarrettSearight@bkoo OSU doesn’t like home Big Noon games (fans don’t like it because of tailgating), their preference is the 3:30 slot- they also won’t schedule primetime home games in November either…
@SportsGuyJeremy I think part of it is they don’t want to add any more teams right now (though they’ll go to 32 eventually), but they want Vegas-maybe MLS does a Cleveland Browns-type deal (like if Vancouver builds a new soccer specific stadium, they’ll be guaranteed a future expansion team)
@SeanRossSapp If it was Kairi’s choice to leave (maybe she wants to go back to Japan like last time) maybe it’s understandable- but if it was, why didnt they do Iyo/Asuka at WM knowing Kairi was a big part of that storyline and that she was leaving….
@BoweRHoy@AdamSchefter Federal law- NFL can’t broadcast games on Fri/Sat from 2nd week in September to 2nd week in December to help high school and college games..
@Rachel__Nichols@TheHerd half the lottery chances based on the current season (fewer wins=more chances), the other half on the 2-3 seasons before that but inverted (more wins=more chances)- a team that has been good in recent years but had one bad season would get more chances than a perennial loser..
@_DavidRumsey The fact the games in those slots were blowouts didn’t really help- but even if you put Alabama/Oklahoma in one of those two slots against the NFL the number might have been only slightly better (and the Friday Night game would have suffered)
@awfulannouncing I would have figured either ESPN or even Fox would have gotten him in the booth for at least part of a game this year because of the HOF award..
