The anxiety and deepression association of America recommended physical activity for stress reduction. Another great reason to engage in physical activities such as hiking, walking, or running. #csulbdpt

Finals is approaching and many of us would sacrifice sleep time to study. According to this study, maybe a short 10 minutes nap would be more beneficial than not.

Do you like to relax in the sauna after a long week or a long day? You might do more than just relaxing. Using sauna on the regular might reduce stroke risk. Steam on!!! #csulbdpt
@tdominelloSPT Unless the information provided is clear and cover all aspects of safety the liability claims might go up. This could be a potential draw back of using telehealth. #dpt770
@tdominelloSPT That's what I meant. I think that building relationships with the patient and gaining their trust have to happen with face to face interaction first in order to have success follow up with telehealth.
@tdominelloSPT This is a great option for PT to follow up with the patient on their home program and their progression. If the patient has a quick question or concern with their HEP can get the answer without having to use their visits or wait till next visit. #dpt770#TD

Didn't know about this until I read this blog. Definitely something to be aware of if you are interested in travel PT position and in the process of negotiate salary. #csulbdpt
@Gutie_A Actually, education for the patient is what I was referred to. Along with screen for other systems, we need to educate our patient about the risk of re-injury, how to recognize and compensations, etc.. #csulbdpt#dpt770
@Gutie_A I believe education is the best prevention strategy. The more we know about how to prevent preventable diseases such as type II diabetes, some of the heart diseases. #dpt770#csulbdpt
@dabbieee @Klnguyen18 @buenaventuradpt Just a general question about my ethnicity and follow up with a nice comments about something that related to it like food or a well-known location.
@AWilliamson_SPT Hi Alex, from my understanding, the medical home model is lead by physicians. To say which model is preferbable I need to know if PT as a member of the medical home model has any autonomy? Or we have listened to the MD in charge? #csulbdpt#dpt770
@HenryCheongSPT From a consumer point of view, I would like to feel related to. If we can increase diversity in our profession, I believe that would be one of the best ways to advance our profession by showing that we can relate to our patient in many ways. #csulbdpt#dpt770
