17 BORING THINGS TO DO IN JUNE
1. Make your bed every morning.
2. Go through old emails and unsubscribe from everything irrelevant.
3. Drink more water than soft drinks.
4. Update your CV, portfolio, or LinkedIn profile even if you’re not job hunting.
5. Spend less time scrolling and more time sitting with your thoughts.
6. Review your account balance before spending.
7. Sleep when you’re actually tired.
8. Book that doctor/dentist appointment you’ve been postponing since January.
9. Read a few pages of a physical book.
10. Take a walk without your phone.
11. Rearrange your wardrobe and set aside clothes you no longer wear.
12. Text/call someone you’ve been meaning to check on for months.
13. Organize and delete duplicate photos and apps you don’t need.
14. Delete contacts of people you haven’t spoken to in 3 years
15. Finish one thing you started and abandoned, a course, a book, a project.
16. Spend 10 minutes planning your next week.
17. Write a will, or at least write down your important documents and where they’re kept.
None of these will change your life in a day.
Do them consistently, and JUNE might end very differently from how it started.
Dear football,
Today, I want to share with you that this season will be my last as a professional footballer. After so many years living my dream, I feel it’s time to start a new chapter in my life.
Being honest, even though I have been preparing myself for this moment, I found it hard to write this letter. After 20 seasons , many people have played an important role in my career.
When I first kicked a ball as a child in Pamplona with my schoolmates, I never imagined the amazing journey ahead. I’m grateful for every moment: the wins, the tough losses, the challenges, and most of all, the people I’ve met and the friendships I’ve made along the way.
To my teammates, coaches, and every staff member at all the clubs I’ve been lucky to be part of, thank you for helping me grow as a person and a player every day. Wearing the shirts of CA Osasuna, Olympique Marseille, Chelsea FC, Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, and representing my country at the biggest stages has been a true privilege. Every moment has meant so much to me…
