@jumdude Necessarily feels like self-expression , just something that transcends its function, so I'm wondering whether art is really expression, or if it's something we recognize when a creation evokes a certain feeling.

@jumdude this might sound stupid but, if art is fundamentally self expression, wouldn't kinda everything a human do qualify as art at some point.. i mean, for me...
sometimes i see something impressive ,or unusual but beautiful and i instantly think "wow! art", and it usually doesn't --

@jumdude okay wait i gotta overthink i can't help it, what's even counts as art anymore? art used to mean things like painting, sculpture ,and craftsmanship , but now the definition is so broad that almost anything can be considered art
