Our new OR-8 engine stands at almost double the height of our previous OR-7 motor. The thrust levels on the first test are expected to stay lower, but we hope to eventually bring the thrust to an F-Motor equivalent or higher with this model!
We are targeting Friday, September 26 at 6:30PM ET for ignition of EN106 on TC-20. This will be the first static fire of an OR-8 rocket engine. A livestream will start ~10 minutes before ignition.

Progress is being made rapidly on both the plane and rocket systems.
This is the most complicated project we have worked on so far. As a result, expect delays further into the summer of 2026. (hopefully not the fall)
We are proud to announce that we have begun work on an air launched model rocket in partnership with @ExelaSpace_ind. They will provide the fully custom plane, while we launch our TVC controlled rocket from the wing of the plane.
Launch is scheduled for NET June, 2026.
Prior to the launch attempt, we will complete three flight tests of our TVC Rocket launching from the ground. These flights should begin flying NET November, 2025.
Since I suck at speaking english apparently, I would like to note that we are not launching in 14 hours. This was meant to say that the pad was finished in just 14 hours.
We have completed design, construction and integration of our launch pad which will support TVC Flight Test 1 in under 14 hours. We began design last night at ~11PM, and now at 3PM the pad is fully assembled.

The failure was most likely caused by an internal hardware issue. However, we are still investigating to determine the root cause of this failure before we attempt any further testing.
While performing integrated vehicle testing of our Phoenix-2 (TVC) rocket, we experienced a severe anomaly involving the flight computer. The flight computer has been lost and the vehicle will need repairs. As a result, another static fire will now be conducted ahead of liftoff.
We are targeting Friday, June 6 for liftoff of TVC Flight Test 1. Further information regarding the flight will be published as we approach launch day.
