Friends! The Christmas Tree is up! Mum has only put a few baubles on it this year, compared to what she usually does. We don’t want breakages! Baby Dog and I checked it out before the Kittens came in. Then they arrived… it seems their first instinct is to EAT the Tree… good job it’s an artificial one 🎄

Friends! PART 3 (please read Parts 1 & 2 first if you haven’t already).

Mum had a sleepless night worrying about Percy’s missing Brother and Sister. By now we had discovered all three kittens were only 5 weeks old.
But then a miracle happened. Early the next morning, at 7am, our lovely neighbour tapped on our door. Percy’s Brother had appeared in her garden. He was ginger and beautiful. Ten minutes later our neighbour knocked again. This time she had found Percy’s sister. She looked very like Percy. We named them Ron and Cleo.
So then we had 3 tiny kittens to look after. We can’t and won’t discuss the original owner’s circumstances here because that wouldn’t be fair, but the kittens now need to be looked after. After taking advice, Mum & Dad decided they will take care of them until they are at least 12 weeks old. That is the right thing to do. They need love and kindness. It’s a big undertaking when there’s already myself, Baby Dog (and usually Ralphy) in the house. Whether they will stay with us, or go to other loving homes at 12 weeks, we don’t know. Mum says she doesn’t want to think about that yet. She is focussing on caring for the kittens now.
We’ll continue to share their story with you. You’ll especially want to know how they are getting on with myself and Baby Dog. We’ll keep you up to date. It’s going to be an Adventure!
