@PeepMySlashLine @AnonymHoco @MillsTwitch Yup, in slo mo it confirms what, I think, we are all saying. Henderson makes an attempt and Clement goes beyond the 3 feet allotted. My original comment is based of lip reading alone the umpire was hung up on Henderson’s tag attempt or lack thereof

@AnonymHoco @MillsTwitch Application of the rule is the problem. A lot of umpires have deemed a tag “attempt” as the fielder moving towards the runner with intent. This one, you can read the lips of 2B blue talking about when Gunnar extended the glove and by that time Clement had established that lane
