@manus0024 This story is the sort that can inspire a generation to do better than their predecessors.
If Nigeria will ever get better, we must all find a way to "pass it on for good".
Thank you for sharing.
I can’t do Osun vs Ogun banter anymore on this app 🤦🏾♂️. Aunty @KemPatriot, @Letter_to_Jack, @DanielWhalee, Aunty @ToBiLeez and others will wound us.
$7 billion deep seaport foreign direct investment! God please don’t forget us in Osun 🙏🏽.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, 2023-2031. From Osun to Ogun, Sokoto to Zamfara, Enugu to Abia, Kano to Kaduna, Benue to Niger, Taraba to Adamawa, we will advocate, campaign, vote, and he will win again 💙💪🏾.
Mr Banks, who couldn't afford ₦5,000 to buy foodstuffs in 2020, can now afford $5 million in 2026 to buy a Cybertruck.
The guy he begged for ₦5,000 that year, he now rewards him with ₦5 million in 2026.
This also takes me back to my friend, who came to my house in 2015 to borrow my Toyota Matrix 2005, so he could visit his then-fiancée's mother, in the suburbs of Ikorodu.
When he returned, my car was faulty, even though I had given it to him in good condition. I called mechanics and consulted almost every expert I could find, but nobody could fix it for three weeks. It wasn't until we employed the services of a car diagnostic engineer that we discovered it was a brain box problem.
Throughout this period, which lasted almost a month, he didn't call or ask what was wrong with the car he had borrowed. I paid for everything myself, and eventually got a new brainbox.
I was only pissed off because he didn't call to show any concern. I called and told him I wasn't happy about that. Even after I fixed it, a few months later, he still borrowed it for his introduction ceremony, and I didn't decline.
Today, he is one of the biggest clearing agents on Tin Can Island, Apapa. His business has earned him nothing less than five houses in the heart of Apapa. He also owns three warehouses in Egbeda, which he bought outrightly.
The last time he came visiting, during my first child's naming ceremony, he saw that I was using a 2009 Toyota Camry. He told me I was too big to be driving that kind of car and that he knew I wouldn't speak up even when I needed something.
The next day, he called, and asked to meet him in Magodo. He bought me a 2023 Toyota Camry, which my wife now drives.
After some time, I asked myself: What if I had listened to the people who advised me to stop lending him my car after he returned it faulty? Would he have thought about me this way today?
Kindness and human investment are the greatest forms of investment. They can yield returns that even Dangote's IPO shares may not match. If you keep getting it clear, keep using it to clear road for people who are in dire needs around you, without expecting nothing in return.
Sometimes, the people you help when they have nothing are the same people who remember you when they have everything.
As we are promoting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the diaspora, from UK 🇬🇧 to Canada 🇨🇦 to SA 🇿🇦, we will come back to the grassroots and campaign.
Although we are in opposition in Osun, that will not deter us. We will campaign for PBAT in OSUN. He will win and govern until 2031 💙💪🏾.

Political parties are not cults; people are free to join or leave at any time. But freedom does not eliminate responsibility. New entrants must be accountable for their past conduct and demonstrate genuine commitment to the values they now claim to uphold.
Akin Tollgate’s move into the APC is not surprising to those of us who have been paying attention. His tweets have circulated for months. The signs were visible. Some of us were even aware of the quiet conversations happening behind the scenes.
I understand why some party members feel blindsided, demoralised, or even upset. Many of them have stood firm for years, absorbing relentless trolling and hostility from individuals like Akin who repeatedly targeted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT), the APC (@OfficialAPCNg), and its members and supporters.
Now these same loyal members and supporters are being told they are “useless” or have “no value,” while someone with a history of antagonism is immediately elevated to a strategic campaign role for a federal constituency election.
My advice to party leaders, stakeholders, and members is threefold.
1. Stop undermining your own loyal members and supporters. The consistency, sacrifice, and resilience of these party members and supporters are the backbone of the APC.
2. Joining opposition members, provocateurs, and online charlatans to insult or diminish your own supporters is strategically reckless. It breeds apathy, resentment, and disengagement at a time when unity and discipline are most needed.
3. Political parties thrive when loyalty is recognised, accountability is enforced, and new entrants are integrated responsibly.
I hope Akin Tollgate will apologise for his media attacks against the President, the Party, and our members. I also hope he will improve his emotional intelligence in life and politics, and do better as a human being.
Look at the National Youth Leader of the party. Very useless in all ramifications. Zero consciousness and emotional intelligence.
Just like many of his type in Abuja, when it's a week or few days to elections, that when they go back to their States or LGs to go and vote. They expect their fathers' mates across the grassroots to deliver so they can go back to Abuja and be claiming to have delivered.
We, the progressives, were tormented by you, particularly me. Yet, look at where we are today, you have paid a graphic designer to create a poster bearing the APC logo, just to gladly announce your appointment as Campaign Director for a House of Representatives candidate. Politics is indeed a game, but history has a very long memory.
“I understand many in APC would rather be the one to get such appointment, but not many is as knowledgeable, political savvy and well connected to work across the aisle to get Fuad more votes than Akin.”
I can count many APC members in Eti-osa who are more knowledgeable and politically savvy than him.
But then, Fuad, Iwo nu, Olohun nu.🫵🏻
@NyteenDee Wha happened to does that worked for his election in the first place, they don't have any value other than just working without bn appreciated bah?
