A tiny 7-million-parameter AI model just outperformed GPT-4 on a pure reasoning test.

Samsung’s new Tiny Recursive Model (TRM) - introduced by Dr. Alexia Jolicoeur-Martineau in her latest paper beats massive LLMs on the ARC-AGI benchmark… a test where AI must actually think, not just predict text (one of the strictest tests of abstract reasoning)

It’s fascinating: instead of relying on size, TRM uses recursive self-correction to solve abstract puzzles. TRM has 7M parameters vs GPT's 1T parameters, yet GPT was able to score single digit %, but TRM scored 40-50%
