@INCIndia had historically opposed the implementation of caste-based reservation in the form proposed by the Mandal Commission. Once the political reality changed, however, it adopted the issue as part of its electoral strategy.

The @BJP4India’s ideological predecessor, the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, had already supported the idea of reservations for backward classes, while the BJP later remained relatively restrained when the Mandal recommendations were implemented in 1990.

The larger question, therefore, is worth asking: if BJP and @RSSorg claim to represent Hindu unity, why has caste-based politics remained such a powerful tool within the Hindu electorate?

Perhaps Hindus have been divided along caste lines and politically mobilised by competing parties for decades, while being repeatedly promised that they are being united.

Gujarat Police was ‘kind’ enough to just send a notice. Bihar Police actually filed two FIRs for reporting a case, albeit laden with 13 grammatical errors.

Police needs to be trained on cyber aspect. They issue batch notices.

आज मैंने अपने सेल्फी देने का व्यक्तिगत रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया। पहला सत्र दो बजे समाप्त हुआ, फिर आधे घंटे के ब्रेक के बाद, लगातार ढाई घंटे अपने सारे मित्रों से मिलता रहा, सेल्फियाँ ली जाती रहीं। @JaipurDialogues में सूरत का एक घंटे का रिकॉर्ड टूट गया।

हर व्यक्ति का आभार जो समय निकाल कर मिलने और सुनने आए। इस बात के लिए क्षमाप्रार्थी हूँ कि संध्या काल में रुक नहीं पाया। इसकी भरपाई अगले किसी आयोजन में कर दूँगा।
