Just your average opinionated habs fan

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

That was a statement game from Jacob Fowler.

Obviously, we can’t expect him to play every game like that. But, if he can bring that level of effort, he’s going to be very intimidating to play against.

Welcome to NHL 27

@EASPORTSNHL you guys can’t make a good game for shit.

#EAsports #nhl

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

Are still haunting us.

- Slakovsky needs to stay on the first line.

Plenty of time left for adjustments, what do we think is at stake if the team doesn’t pick it up throughout the year ?

#Gohabsgo

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

Takeaways from the game ;

- Matheson needs to focus on being defensive and atop trying to bring offense. We don’t need him for that.

- I feel as though Demidov’s absence on the second line is very noticeable.

- We’re only 4 games in - however some old bad habits - (1/2)

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

The whole skating in circles in front of the o-zone to try and skate the puck in is getting REALLY old.

They’re so out of sync right now, can’t get any quality from special teams or 5v5

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

Its really nuts to see people be SO HARSH with players 2 GAMES IN.

What is wrong with us ???

People were calling this team trash after the first. Give them a fucking chance

[Mathieu @GHGMath]

What is all that Demidov hate on the timeline?? TWO games into the season..

Crazy what i’m reading tonight.

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

How was that NOT a slashing call ??

Broke Demidov’s stick IN FRONT of the reff

Come on

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

Is there more to the Larking story that we don’t know ?

Just playing Devil’s advocate here but, that team has been on a downward spiral for a while
now … Anyone would be justified in wanting out.

Anything I don’t know ?

Talk to me #RedWings fans

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

Is the passionate cheer in the room with us ?

[B/R Open Ice @BR_OpenIce]

McKenna gets a PASSIONate cheer from Leafs Nation as he's introduced for the first time 👏🔥

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

I mean Patrice Bergeron gotta be up there … right ?

[Hockey Vice @HockeyVice_]

Who is the best 2way C ever?

[Nate Thompson @NateThompson44]

You wouldn’t be a Toronto fan would you? 🤔

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

Solid first game, had to shake the fust off a bit. Love seeing a regulation W. Dobes was an animal, Anderson looks like he’s never had so much purpose. Lots of good things to take away from this game.

#gohabsgo

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

@J0SHAllenLov3rr Wether I like the leafs or not they had so many big adds and I’ll even say, those players deserve more love from the crowd.

I heard a lot of tickets go to like business groups and not necessarily passionate fans. Hope that changes

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

This #Leafs crowd is …. tough to watch.

Could hear a needle drop during the introduction

[Alex @ivandemigoal]

Like always, that barn in Toronto sounds like a library

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

If the #Leafs need a new GM I’ll do it. I promise I won’t let my bias get in the way

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

I must admit - I don’t see the hype for Marchenko, I would focus on getting a center. No need for a winger with fluctuating numbers who will almost guaranteed ask for a ridiculous amount of money

I think a portion of the fan base can definitely come off as delusional.

You can say the same about any fanbase though, some more than others ….

[The Habitant @the_habitant]

Genuinely don’t even know what Habs fans are delusional about

1. Slaf beat the bust allegations and is damn near a ppg power forward at 22yo

2. Lane Hutson proved everyone wrong and is getting Norris votes at 22yo

3. Suzuki proved all the haters wrong and is a 100 point selke winning centre

4. Caufield proved all the haters wrong and is a 50 goal guy

5. Demidov just put up an outrageous rookie season with Kapanen as his centre, and is destined for superstardom

6. Fowler and Dobes have excelled at each level and haven’t looked back

7. Hage has also excelled at every level, and at best-on-best, lead all players at the WJC in points and is easily one of the top prospects outside the NHL

8. The Habs deadass made it to the conference finals as the youngest team in the league, as further proof of how all the hype was warranted

Deadass everything that was supposed to go right, went right, and Habs fans were correct about it 😂

[OnlyHabs @only_habs]

Rumors around Kent Hughes going after Mark Scheiffele going around …

If we remove the hit on Evans from the equation, is he a good fit on the team ?
