This Nigerian lady who teaches at a school in Japan broke down the Japanese style of learning that makes them very intelligent and productive.
I think this is smart learning. It will be helpful to Nigerian students, if it is adopted in our educational system.✍️
My Experience with the DSS @OfficialDSSNG (Department of State Services) -PART ONE
I want to clearly state that this is my personal experience and account.
On the night of April 30th, after days of being blindfolded and held by some unidentified men who initially claimed to be from the DSS — but whom I later discovered were not DSS officials — I was eventually taken to a DSS facility.
At the time, I was still blindfolded and handcuffed. After arriving at the facility, I heard someone instruct that my blindfold should not be removed until we were inside. Shortly after, the blindfold was removed, and for the first time in days, I was able to see properly again. My vision was initially unclear but gradually improved.
The officer who received me spoke calmly and assured me that I was safe. He asked if I knew where I was, and I replied yes because I could see the DSS logo on the wall. He noticed I was shaking and visibly traumatized, and he tried to calm me down. At that point, I was extremely scared and confused because I still did not fully understand my situation or why I had been taken in the first place.
That same night, I was given tea and bread — the first proper meal I had eaten in days. I was also taken to the medical unit where my blood pressure and general health condition were checked to ensure I was medically stable.
Afterwards, I was taken to a room with other detainees and provided with a bed and duvet. For the first time in days, I was able to sleep comfortably.
The following morning, the investigation team began questioning me. Because the matter is still before the court, I will not go into details about the investigation itself. However, based on my personal experience, the DSS officials I interacted with treated me professionally and respectfully throughout my stay. Nobody shouted at me, physically assaulted me, or used force against me during the period I spent there.
They also ensured that I had food and basic care, and I was even asked if there were specific meals I preferred during the process. I also observed that officials handling my case remained active on the matter, including during weekends and public holidays.
From my own experience, I can say that the DSS demonstrated professionalism in the way they handled me. At the same time, no institution is perfect, and like every agency, there are areas where improvements can still be made — particularly regarding the speed of investigations and certain administrative processes.
Again, this is strictly my personal experience and should be understood as such.
🚨🚨 WHY MAN UNITED SACKED AMORIM (continuation)
Sir Jim Ratcliffe wanted Ruben Amorim to switch from his preferred back three to a back four, as did Jason Wilcox. The Glazer family had expressed disquiet at United’s results as long ago as August.
Amorim responded that the players needed to be changed. Wilcox said he wanted to work through the issues, evolving the squad over time but sticking with Amorim. Amorim reacted by saying he wished to leave United and would be calling his agent.
In their face-to-face meeting at Carrington on Friday, Jason Wilcox suggested to Ruben Amorim that the players were struggling to gain trust in his 3-4-2-1 system and had become confused over his vision.
This is the controversial part⬇️
“Amorim would train the team in a back four, only for a back three to be selected in games.” Why would you do that! Are you trying to sabotage the team or what?
They also sensed he lacked faith in them due to his selections and public statements
United were willing to back Amorim in January by willing to sign Semenyo, but the real disagreement came after that.
Amorim wanted the available money redirected toward signing a midfielder immediately. His view was simple: the system could not function properly without fixing midfield first.
But the recruitment structure at United now works collectively — Christopher Vivell, Jason Wilcox, and the manager all debate transfer decisions together.
Wilcox and Vivell believed there were no “best-in-class” midfield options available in January and didn’t want to panic buy another player the club could regret long-term. (Stating ugarte, Antony, Malacia etc as example).
The option in January was Conor Gallagher before moving to spurs! The management said NO! Because they believe we can get something better in the summer!
Their stance was: switch to a back four temporarily, stabilise the team, then attack the market properly in the summer.
That disagreement became one of the major breaking points between Amorim and the hierarchy.

SATURDAY 16TH MAY
NAP OF THE WEEK 🏇💥
Thirsk 15:37 - Equity Law 6/1 EW5
Tipped in Apex earlier at 7/1 the Tim Easterby trained Equity Law looks value to back up his recent 3rd at the course and distance.
He is a C&D winner last season as well as finishing 2nd earlier in 2025.
Two recent thirds at both Ripon and last time out at Thirsk both strong on the clock and Copper Knight who finished 2nd at Ripon has won since backing up the strong time on the clock from both efforts.
Dropping into a Class 4 tomorrow and David Allan back on board from is another big plus.
This race looks to have plenty of pace on paper with Law Of Average and Glory Fighter drawn near him 8 and 6 that should give him a nice lead into this out of 4 i think sitting midfield is the place to be and it will likely be a pace collapse late on.
A big field but i cant see him out of the first 5 tomorrow and i think will add to his great course record.
Winning here last year 🎥⬇️
Few for tomorrow 🏇
Likely be a few more in morning

LEGACY LINK (11/10)
£200 PAYS £420 💰
John Gosden loves this race & knows what he’s doing when sending horses here. Winning this race 7 times since 2011.
Legacy Link was last seen finishing 4th in the G1 Fillies Mile at Newmarket in October where that’s been franked with the 3rd that day finishing 2nd in the 1000 Guineas behind True Love this month.
Has a pedigree to die for, the step up in trip should be a positive, this takes the beating.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE ☘️
