Someone has to be made accountable for Bato’s escape.
No less than the DILG Secretary and PNP Chief entered the senate building last night to secure the senators.
The public was assured last night Bato was in the “5th foor, in his room, resting”. Bato’s lawyer showed a video last night of Bato supposedly in the senate.
The senate building should’ve been secured last night - no one in, no one out.
We need answers. How did Bato escape? Who helped him?
Mel Tiangco: matagal kayong hindi pumasok eh. 6 na buwan kayong nawala sa senado…
Karen Davila: tapos eto kayo tumatakbo, umiiwas sa mga pulis, umiiyak sa senado, takot na takot kayo…
HAHAHA women roasting the hell out of this stupid, cowardly senator. we love to see it! 😌
I have a co-worker who never announces anything. You don’t know she applied for a promotion until she’s already in the new office. You don’t realize she bought her own place until she casually mentions “heading home to finish painting.” She doesn’t post milestones. Doesn’t crowdsource opinions. Doesn’t invite commentary.
I used to think she was secretive. That success was supposed to be shared loudly. That excitement needed an audience.
Now I see it differently.
She moves with intention. Quiet. Focused. Certain. Her plans are protected while they’re still fragile. Her joy isn’t diluted by outside noise. She lets things grow roots before she shows the world the bloom.
It isn’t secrecy. It’s discernment. It’s peace. It’s self-trust.
Sometimes the strongest people are the ones who build their lives softly, without applause, and let their results speak when they’re ready.
We cannot be motivated all the time. That’s why we must stay disciplined most of the time. Do what needs to be done out of commitment. Discipline is an act of the will, not a surge of emotion. Motivation visits occasionally. Discipline moves in and stays.

The clearer you are about your priorities, the easier it is to say NO to distractions. The clearer you are about your values, the easier it is to make the right decisions. (anon)
I watched an interview about mental health where Kara David shared her perspective on having bipolar disorder, describing it as a gift.
My two favorite journalists in one frame, my heart. 😩🥹

Derek Sivers has this to say on the value of mastery: “Mastery is the ultimate goal because it’s beyond money’s reach. The wealthy can’t buy it, the impatient can’t rush it, the privileged can’t inherit it, and it can’t be stolen.
