What’s happening with Byron Donalds?

If he becomes governor of Florida, he will reduce property taxes and home insurance. At least, that’s what he says in a campaign video. It’s easier said than done. But his biggest blunder is determining whether to stop data centers. 

Florida must be a leader in this industry. Data centers are critical to our state and the nation’s leadership. They are the digital backbone for defense, intelligence, AI and
the continuity of essential services. They store, process and protect the digital systems that modern governments, militaries and critical infrastructure depend on.

Hyperscalers that build these centers are handling essential electrical and water resources, and Florida cities have nothing to be concerned about.

Donalds needs to rethink his position and help Florida lead on AI.
