@jake_burns18 What is the actual downside here except fans finding it annoying? They know the full extent and can operate accordingly, them being vague doesnโt impact their actual operations at all.
@LakeEffectBro The QBs that play bad on teams with holes are often just bad because that's who they are. Figuring out the QB first is the only way that makes sense anymore.
@FtblSickness@JoshNorris If they truly activate Watson as QB2 that might be my breaking point with AB. I see the logic of him being on the 53 given the financial logistics, but just sit him behind the rookies and pray he never sees the field again.
@DatDamn_DOMO Like sure, it may not work out, but those people are acting like AB/Stefanski are just staring at a button labeled "be bad" and willfully pressing that over any other option.
@jake_burns18@BeLikeMike_06@The_1nine Jags being good is a bummer, but as it stands I still make the trade 10/10 times. They actually got a good player unlike the Julio trade. Would prefer it as high as possible, but doesn't need to be a top pick to make it worth it.
@JordanZirm The WR room is pretty bare, but he got production out of JAGs like Higgins and DPJ previously. Not sure why everything seems so hard schematically right now.
@finkn23 My only hope is that they were keeping it simple since asking him to start on the road in a different country against a legit defense was a pretty big ask. If they look just as lethargic against the Steelers I will be very worried.
@BenAxelrod@GFox77 If this was a true rebuild they would have traded Myles + other vets. So far it seems they did stay the course and had a solid draft. Plus assets to invest in fixing the offense next season. I think this is a refresh year more than the start of another massive rebuild.
@BenAxelrod@realstocks13 The track record of letting a QB play it out on their 5th year option isnโt exactly stellar. Usually you know if heโs the guy or not by then. Watson aside I was already talking myself into someone like Mariota instead of Mayfield. The vibes were putrid.
