One of the main reasons Canada has thrived is the fact that our only neighbour is the US.

This has provided us with security, and access to the largest consumer market in the world.

It has also allowed us to maintain a high standard of living even as our leftwing govt’s policies have decimated our productivity.

I put together the data of homeownership rates for refugees in Canada by years after arrival.
(Not all provinces had good data)

Almost 4% of refugees bought a home in their first year in Canada in Ontario, Alberta, and Manitoba.

By year 5, 20% of them bought a home in Ontario and double digit across other provinces.

Canada has one of the most unaffordable real estate market in the world, and people who apparently have nothing can afford it.

We either have massive fraud going on or taxpayers are showering them with that much money $$$.
