During our bilateral meeting with our friends from Sweden we discussed huge challenges that concern the youth as well as ongoing developments including the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the shady role of Turkey and the escalating energy crisis in Europe.

Days like today are days of remembrance, but also dark days of human history. We welcome the conclusive decision of the recognition of the Genocide of Armenians for the first time from the President of the USA. It is our duty to remember and to keep their memory alive.

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias visited his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu. @NikosDendias stated that “Greece is ready to start slowly on a positive agenda with Turkey, if there is a de-escalation of incendiary actions and comments.

Seven years after the Hellenic embassy's closure due to country's civil war, Greece reopened its embassy in Tripoli as an act of reseting the relations sured by the Tripoli government. Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis meets the Libyan PM Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh in Tripoli, Libya.

The first Greek to be vaccinated was the head nurse of the intensive care units at an Athens hospital. State officials were vaccinated today including the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou Katerina Sakellaropoulou and Prime Minister @kmitsotakis.

A further highlight of the Council Meeting was the presence of the Head of the @EPP in the EP @ManfredWeber who highlighted Turkish illegal actions against Europe and responded to various questions of the participants @pavlmarin @syrila @vas_sakellaris.

The President of @ONNED @pavlmarin the International Secretary @syrila and the member of International Secretariat @vas_sakellaris along with their Cypriot counterparts from @NEDISY Andreas Eleftheriou, Androniki Elina and Konstantinos Iliadis submitted the resolution.
