@davido@leonthomas You do this with such ease, itβs in your DNA. Itβs hard to ignore, and your vibe is absolutely contagious. π₯π₯ This one is a whole vibe! ππΆ
Going by your response, I believe you may support the current Governor of Osun State or perhaps a politician who is not in APC. My question to you is simple: what will you do when the politician you support today decides to move to APC or support someone in APC, just like Adeleke has publicly declared his support for Tinubu?
This is where I think many of you get it wrong. You take the actions of politicians personally, when most politicians understand that politics is about interests, negotiations and political survival , not personal loyalty.
Today, a politician can be in one party; tomorrow, they can move to another. They can support someone today and oppose that same person tomorrow. We've seen this repeatedly across Nigerian politics.
So, for me, I don't belong to APC, PDP, ADC or NDC. I don't follow political parties; I follow the issues and what I believe is best for Nigeria.
Don't take politics personally. The politicians themselves certainly don't.
Preliminary Review of Selected 2026 Osun Governorship Election Results
Purpose
A preliminary review was conducted on a random collection of INEC Form EC 8A polling-unit result sheets from the 2026 Osun State Governorship Election.
The exercise is not intended to represent the complete Osun State result. It is simply an examination of the polling-unit results provided and an attempt to identify any noticeable patterns or issues requiring further verification.
Results from the Sample Examined
When the results from the polling units provided are added together, Accord records the highest number of votes in the sample, followed by APC.
The combined figures indicate that Accord has a clear lead over APC within these selected polling units.
This finding should, however, be treated strictly as a sample observation and not as a projection of the statewide result. The polling units examined are not sufficient to establish the overall outcome of the election.
Noticeable Concerns
Although the sample shows Accord leading, a number of issues are noticeable on some of the EC8A result sheets and deserve independent verification.
1. Similarities in Handwriting
Several of the result sheets appear to contain handwriting with noticeable similarities, particularly in the recording of numerical results and the writing of numbers and words.
The similarity is sufficiently noticeable to raise a question about whether some sections of multiple result sheets may have been completed by the same person or under similar circumstances.
This observation does not establish that the same person completed the forms, and a proper handwriting examination would be required before reaching such a conclusion.
2. Corrections, Overwriting and Mutilation
A number of the forms contain visible corrections, overwriting, crossed-out figures or other alterations.
Some of the more noticeably altered or marked forms also record significant numbers of votes for Accord.
This does not, by itself, establish manipulation. Corrections can occur legitimately during the completion of election result forms. However, where multiple forms show similar patterns of alteration, the original figures and the circumstances surrounding the corrections should be independently verified.
3. Arithmetic and Ballot-Accounting Figures
The ballot-accounting figures at the top of some forms also deserve closer scrutiny.
The following figures should be reconciled for every affected polling unit:
* Number of registered voters
* Accredited voters
* Ballot papers issued
* Unused ballot papers
* Spoiled ballots
* Rejected ballots
* Total valid votes
* Total used ballot papers
Any discrepancy should be checked against the original polling-unit documentation and the electronically transmitted result.
Preliminary Assessment
The evidence reviewed does not justify a conclusion that the election results were falsified.
What it does show is that the selected polling-unit results produce a clear Accord lead within this particular sample, while also presenting several noticeable features that deserve further examination.
The combination of:
similar-looking handwriting + visible corrections/overwriting + apparently altered figures on some forms + ballot-accounting figures requiring verification
makes it reasonable to call for a more comprehensive examination of the original polling-unit result sheets.
Conclusion
A preliminary review of 20 randomly selected INEC Form EC8A polling-unit results shows Accord leading APC within the sample.
Total valid votes: 4,509
Accord: 2,445 votes (54.2%)
APC: 1,887 votes (41.9%)
ADC: 81 votes (1.8%)
Accord's lead over APC: 558 votes
While the figures clearly show an Accord lead in the selected sample, the physical result sheets also reveal several noticeable concerns
Davido, I say this as someone who genuinely loves your music, but calling Sowore a βuseless manβ is disappointing.
You can disagree with someone politically without reducing the conversation to insults and name-calling. With the platform and influence you have, I honestly expect more maturity from you.
Your recent posts on X are disappointing to see. I may have overestimated your level of political maturity and intelligence, and I say that as a fan.
You have built a global brand that is much bigger than these online political fights. Don't allow anger and arguments on X to damage the image and respect you have spent years building.
I sincerely hope you take a step back, reflect on some of these comments and find a way to amend them.
Now you know, @Davido. You guys thought you could have it both ways, opportunism and political hedging.
You want your family to keep controlling the Osun State purse while embracing the same monstrous Tinubu @officialabat establishment at the federal level.
In the end, it is about protecting personal and family interests, not the interests of the people of Osun state or Nigerians.
You cannot claim to stand with the people while simultaneously cutting deals with the political establishment that has failed them.
I hope the lessons have been learned. Nigerians should now know exactly who these people are, what they represent, and whose interests they truly serve. #ARINDIN #RevolutionNOW
ADC and NDC want Nigerians to believe they are serious contenders for the 2027 presidential election, but the Osun election results should make everyone pause and ask some very important questions.
From the polling-unit results we have examined so far, neither ADC nor NDC is anywhere close to the leading parties. Accord is clearly ahead in the sample, followed by APC, while ADC is far behind. Interestingly, many people who openly support ADC and NDC online are now appearing in the comment sections supporting or celebrating Accord.
That raises a bigger question: where is the actual electoral strength of these parties?
Politics is not won on X, Facebook, WhatsApp or YouTube. Social media can create the impression that a party has enormous support, but elections are ultimately decided by **votes, candidates, structures, agents, mobilisation and organisation at the polling units.
There is another interesting dimension to this.
Accordβs candidate and the incumbent Governor of Osun State has publicly declared support for Bola Tinubu.Yet some of the same political voices positioning themselves against Tinubu nationally appear comfortable celebrating an Accord victory in Osun.
And Peter Obi's party did not even field a candidate in the Osun governorship election.
So what exactly should Nigerians make of all this?
The Osun election may not tell us who will win the 2027 presidential election, but it can provide valuable clues about political structures, grassroots strength and the difference between online popularity and actual votes.
2027 will be an interesting election.
Let nobody be deceived by social media noise. Watch the candidates, watch the structures, watch the polling units β and most importantly, watch the votes.

OSUN POLITICS: WHO REALLY WINS?
Now that voting has concluded and attention has shifted to result collation and political coalitions, I think Nigerians need to look beyond the immediate winner.
Politically, Tinubu may potentially emerge as the biggest winner, regardless of the final outcome.
If APC's Oyebamiji wins, Tinubu's party gains Osun.
If Adeleke retains the state, the calculation is different β Adeleke has publicly declared support for Tinubu's 2027 second-term bid, despite the political battle with APC in Osun.
Then there is Davido.
Davido has strongly supported his uncle's political campaign, yet he maintains a relationship with Seyi Tinubu and has also visited President Tinubu, including with his father, Adedeji Adeleke, and his uncle, Governor Adeleke.
Add to this the major business interests of the Adeleke family, including the power-generation project being developed by Davido's father, and it becomes clear that Nigerian political relationships are far more complicated than what we see on social media.
This does NOT prove any secret political arrangement.
But it should make ordinary Nigerians think.
While supporters are abusing each other, making enemies and sometimes putting themselves in danger, politicians and influential people can still meet, negotiate, maintain relationships and change political alliances.
Now that the election is over and coalition-building is underway, watch what the politicians do β not just what their supporters say.
Support whoever you believe in.
Vote for whoever you want.
Defend your political position.
But DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE USED.
Don't destroy your friendships.
Don't destroy your livelihood.
Don't risk your life.
Because when the political calculations are finished, the politicians will continue with their lives.
The ordinary people of Osun will still have to live together.
No Nigerian life is worth the political ambition of any Nigerian politician.
