@zahraaaiiiii@Tlhglt@grok You are so funny literally giving Grok the prompy to say what YOU want🤣🤣 all you guys do is brag about your past because you don’t produce anything today. That’s why you’re referencing the same sources with Islamists meanwhile they are your biggest enemies
@zahraaaiiiii@Tlhglt All decent countries in the world had language reforms, Italy, France, Norway… Even Israel that you guys adore. Atatürk removed vast manority of the Arabic and Persian words and replaced them with Turkish so people understand science without having to learn Arabic first. So what
@Tlhglt@zahraaaiiiii Dil devrimini kötülüyorlar ama kendileri Arap harflerini ve Farsçaya geçen Arapça sözcüklerden utanç duyan bir ulus🤣 Atatürk tam olarak bunların isteyip yapamadığını yaptı diye kuduruyorlar işte kaynağa gerek yok
@IRAQPOTAMIA@Hittitia I personally don’t have a problem with that. I just don’t accept the argument “Turks came from Mongolia and stole our land” or “You are Greeks because you are Anatolian”. I’m not looking for purity or something obvi as a Turkish who is very few likely to be pure.
@IRAQPOTAMIA@Hittitia It’s a part of us but compared to our Anatolian heritage it’s low. Ottomans themselves described their state as a successor of Rome. Because they were only one of the Beyliks who intermarried Anatolians. It’s like saying Germans are Habsburgs. Not wrong but very inadequate.
@Hittitia@IRAQPOTAMIA Yeah, also the way Turks have been a agriculture society, our most known dishes like baklava dating back to early anatolian societies, still practicing pagan rituals like Hıdırellez, çaput bağlama, evil eye etc.. Those are not commonly known because Anatolia is underrepresented
@IRAQPOTAMIA@Hittitia Anatolia was under Byzantine rule, they spoke Greek, then under Ottoman rule and they spoke Turkish. We even have more Anatolian than Greeks but somehow we don’t get to claim our native lands :)
@IRAQPOTAMIA@Hittitia So native Anatolians first were conquered by Greeks, they started speaking Greek and everybody is okay with calling them Ancient Greeks. Then Turks conquered Anatolia and same people started speaking Turkish but somehow they are not our history? How is that not a my history
@IRAQPOTAMIA@Hittitia Who says we are not Turkish? He’s claiming Turks of Turkey are of Anatolian descent not Central Asia. We were always calling ourselves Anatolian for someone from the“village”, it’s not compareable to Lebanese saying they are not Arab. We are totally proud of being Turkish
