Planting season is underway across Ontario!
Fields are busy with activity as farmers work to get crops in the ground. This time of year, you may notice tractors, planters, sprayers, and other farm equipment moving between fields and travelling on rural roads.
If you see the orange slow moving vehicle sign, it means the equipment is travelling at 40 km/h or less. Please slow down, stay patient, and give farmers plenty of space to move safely.
Slow down. Share the road. Be patient. Save lives. 🚜

🚜 Have you spotted the slow-moving vehicle (SMV) sign on Ontario roads this planting season?
That orange triangle is a reminder to slow down, stay patient, and share the road safely with farmers working hard to plant the crops that feed our communities.
Let’s all do our part to help everyone get home safely this #plant26 🌱
