Cervical cancer affects the cervix and is mainly caused by HPV. It may have no early symptoms, so screening is key. Get a Pap smear every 3 years from age 21 (every 3β5 years from 30). HPV vaccination for girls 9β14 and women up to 26 saves lives. Prevention is possible. π
Happy New Year to the Oncology Nurses family π
May this year be filled with hope, strength, and continued impact in the lives we serve. Thank you for all that you do. π
