What a memorable, thrilling and nerve-wracking roller coaster of a season! Thank you @BlueJays for playing with grit, passion and lots of emotion. Can’t wait to next season! #bluegrit
I went through the public school system in Canada; the fact that I can’t recall a single instance where a teacher, professor or academic ever mentioned the horrific legacy of our residential school system and how it impacted our indigenous community is a source of national shame.
At this point, I’ve stopped wondering if I’ll live to see the Leafs win the Cup and started wondering if I’ll live to see the #Leafs win a playoff series
Today marks International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, in solidarity with people around the world struggling against racism and intolerance, including here in Canada. #FightRacism

Did you know that after they’ve paid for housing, the average food bank recipient has $7.83 left per day?

There will be many more takes about how last week’s federal climate plan is bad for Alberta. They are wrong. I’m not a partisan but this is one instance where I feel I need to comment on how misguided the political spin is. This is good policy, including for Alberta. 1/
Across the city, food banks have been hit hard by the pandemic at a time when they're needed more than ever.
That's why @SussexStrategy is holding a fundraiser to support @DailyBreadTO. If you're able to help, please give what you can this holiday season.

Our friend Pamela just told us that “According to Jewish tradition, a person who dies on Rosh Hashanah, which began tonight, is a tzaddik, a person of great righteousness.” We found that very comforting. So strange to be eating these apples and honey with this sadness.
This is my Gr2/3 classroom. I don’t have desks to support different learning styles, collaboration, self-reg., etc. I calculate 11 spots that would allow for physical distancing with the furniture I have? Who has desks anymore? #SafeSeptember@Sflecce#onted#UnsafeSeptember
While Ford & Lecce say they want students back at school five days a week in September, they are showing no willingness to commit to any additional funding to school boards for the resources needed to keep our students and staff safe from COVID-19. #OSSTF#onted#onpoli
