@HarchibaldS 4 of us setting off on Fri for 4 nights at Cartmel, taking booze and food into the paddock. Seeing the horse blessed at the Priory at 11am Sunday, thx to @charlottejones_ for that info in the pub in Aug BH Sunday 2015, and taking the time out to talk to two middle aged couples.

@BarstewardsThe @NewburyRacing Tracks I believe get around 10K per race in media rights, some seem overly keen to split races, perhaps @NewburyRacing are scared of a 16th repeat, this is a maiden but has been supported by some of the sat novice boy cotters, see pic

@BarstewardsThe @yorkracecourse I went on Juddmonte day for years on Tues until I went to Royal York 2005, ground floor gents was a paddling pool and not water. I have never been back since. Highlight was seeing the Queens carriage at York barracks at RY2005.

My mate Andy (58) who died last year of a brain tumour will be turning in his grave at this spelling lol. Ironically Wetherby was his favourite racecourse.
