Just wondering how parents are supposed to work 9-5, drop the kids off at 8 am, pick them up by 3pm. Stay on top of school activities meal prep, cook dinner, keep the house clean, do laundry, run to extracurriculars, climb the corporate ladder, be a good wife/husband, and still take care of their own body and mental health?

For years/decades, weve seen leaders hold Bangalore development portfolio without delivering meaningful change.
You seem to be different and going in right direction. Wishing you success to make #Bangalore a better city in every aspect! Give us good roads (without dust), footpaths, bring back those marshals who catch idiots littering everywhere…and there’s a big list 😄

@ravihanda I actually stopped my 5 year long Sensex Index fund SIP after I was shocked to see my XIRR at around 3.5%. Going to make it up with an increase in SIP amount in PP flexi cap.
Sheikh Hasina is currently a highly protected state guest of India. India is providing her with extensive security and bearing the cost of her stay, which likely amounts to enormous daily expenditure. Many people in India respect Hasina. They believe that on the opposite side stands Islamist extremism.
What ordinary people often do not know, however, is how Hasina herself used Islam while in power—how she empowered fundamentalists, built hundreds of mosques and madrassas, granted madrassa degrees equivalence with university degrees, and, in the process, helped create generations of jihadist indoctrination. They may also not know how minorities, especially Hindus, were persecuted during her rule, or how hundreds of Hindus were forced to leave the country because of insecurity.
During the crisis of the Awami League, India gave shelter to hundreds of League members, many of whom may themselves harbor anti-Hindu and anti-India sentiments. How long they will remember the generosity India has shown toward Sheikh Hasina and her party, I do not know.
India stood beside the Bengalis in 1971, and it has stood beside them again during the crisis of 2024. Even while assuming that Sheikh Hasina may never return to power in Bangladesh, India did not withdraw its hand of support. Such compassion and solidarity toward a neighboring country is something we rarely witness in today’s world.
The number of people without electricity by country.
Look what happened after 2016. Someone started fixing India for real. Many things at a time. Still some way to go. The lag of last 60 is that bad.
The famous presser by @MamataOfficial Mamata Banerjee’s favourite fawning flatterer @MahuaMoitra which ensured that the large Gujarati community of Bhabanipur voted for TMC with their feet.
More power to Mahua Moitra for saving Bengal and Bengalis from TMC’s Hitlerian tyranny.✊🏽
No professional military in the world uses low-level or vulgar language in official press conferences.
Official statements should show discipline and credibility, not insults.
Have you ever heard this kind of language from any country’s military spokesperson except Pakistan’s DG ISPR?
On this day last year, Indian armed forces executed #OperationSindoor in response to terrorist attacks against innocent civilians.
We thank India for its continued leadership and actions in addressing cross-border terrorism, and its commitment to regional security.
#WATCH | Jaipur, Rajasthan: "They (Pakistan) lost more than 100 soldiers. 100 terrorists were killed in those nine terrorist camps..." says Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai at the press conference on the anniversary of Operation Sindoor
He says, "Inadvertently, their honours and awards list, which was out on the internet, told us that so many of those awards were given posthumously. The numbers that they suffered on the line of control in the exchanges that followed, they lost more than 100 soldiers... At the end of the day, if Pakistanis were to make the same amount of investment in their battle-fighting ability as they do in the narrative. I think they would have fared much better. That's the advice that they could take."
"It shows that early aircraft losses, which dominated international coverage, were only one part of a larger campaign that unfolded very differently over time and ended with the Pakistan Air Force outmatched, India establishing air superiority over significant portions of Pakistani airspace, and conducting precision strikes across the depth of Pakistan."
Udit Raj stepped into the front row so that PM Modi would notice him and he did. Just look at the happiness on his face when the PM spoke to him....
After logging on to X, he will abuse the same PM…
After our last video highlighting a good footpath, we were invited to walk and test-ride the stretch from Dairy Circle to Kalena Agrahara.
We dared only a few stretches — our spine gave up. Walking the whole stretch might have landed us straight at Fortis.
So who is accountable for maintaining this road?
BMRCL?
Bengaluru South City Corporation?
BWSSB?
Or someone else?
We genuinely don’t know. Do you? #Bengaluru
Take a look at the video, you’ll understand.
Every year in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, a mother and father quietly stand beside a road that bears their son’s name... Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan Road.
For the country, it is a tribute. For K. Unnikrishnan and Dhanalakshmi, it is a place to remember the child they raised.
Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was one of the brave commandos of the National Security Guard who laid down his life during the 2008 Mumbai attacks while rescuing civilians at the Taj Hotel.
In the middle of that night of terror, he reportedly told his team: “Do not come up, I will handle them.” He fought the terrorists so others could live. For India, he became a symbol of courage, duty, and sacrifice. But for his parents, the pride of a hero comes with the pain of losing a son.
On his birth anniversary, they still come to pay their respects... quietly, with folded hands, carrying memories only parents can understand.
The nation stands proud of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. And it remains forever indebted to him and to the parents who gave their son in service of the country. Because the freedom and safety we live with today were secured by sacrifices like his.

Ravi Shastri owes an apology to all viewers. His only job in those final minutes was to ensure he is watching and calling the BIGGEST moment. And he calls NZ is 9 down :-(
