REPEAT:
Suicide rates will multiply all over the world. Not because times are hard. Times were HARD during the World Wars and Great Economic recessions and depressions. The society is increasingly frivolous. People have no true friends. Because friends see themselves more as...
🚨Owen Hargreaves on Manchester United’s starting XI against Como in the Champions League:
🗣️ Owen Hargreaves: “I’m sorry, but I have serious questions about this lineup. Michael Carrick has made some questionable decisions, and Cesc Fàbregas will be looking at this team thinking Como have a real chance.
Mason Mount starting ahead of Baleba? That’s a massive gamble. You’re playing away in the Champions League against a side that wants to control possession, yet you’re trusting a midfield pairing of Mount and Andrey Santos.
Where is the physical dominance? Where is the protection when United lose the ball? Nico Paz and Lucas da Cunha could have a field day if they find space between the lines.
“Then there’s Bruno Fernandes on the right wing with Amad Diallo on the bench. Bruno is United’s best creative midfielder, so why move him away from the area where he can dictate the game?
You risk losing his influence centrally while leaving one of your most direct attackers waiting for an opportunity.
“De Ligt returning is a positive, but with Luke Shaw injured, Mazraoui has to start. United must be careful with their defensive balance.
Como will have their home crowd behind them, and if Fàbregas gets his team playing confidently, the pressure could build quickly.
“With Sesko injured, United also lose an important attacking option. Cunha and Mbeumo can hurt Como on the counter, but if Bruno is pushed wide and the midfield cannot win second balls, who consistently connects the defence to the attack?
“Fàbregas will want Nico Paz receiving between the lines, Da Cunha helping Como progress the ball, and runners attacking the spaces United leave behind. If United’s midfield gets bypassed, De Ligt and Maguire could be defending wave after wave of attacks.
“My biggest concern is that Carrick has picked a lineup that could lack midfield control, physicality and balance. United have enough individual quality to win, but quality alone won’t save you when you’re playing away against a team that knows exactly where to hurt you.
“If Como take control early and the home crowd gets behind them, the pressure will be on Carrick. Lose the midfield battle, and this could become a very long night for Manchester United.”
BREAKING: Nigeria: A Christian mother, Liatu Samuel Dawa, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for the “crime” of evangelism.
Liatu shared her faith with a woman in Borno State who later converted to Christianity.
For that, Liatu is now behind bars and her family in hiding after Muslims threatened their lives.
The judge, A.B. Kumdila, imposed the harsh sentence.
This ruling is a gross miscarriage of justice.
The disgraceful action must be overturned and Liatu immediately returned safely to her family.
Free Liatu Dawa.
Beyond being a roller-coaster of a football match, this is one of the best scenes I saw yesterday after the game. I'm not sure if anyone else saw it.
I don't know the purpose, but it's simply amazing and good for the game.
You can share the reason if you know.
I know the Akanwa’s because we all went to the same campus church, Living Word in ABSU and one of their son’s, Chibuzor was my immediate junior colleague.
One thing I know about them is they’re LOVELY people but I never knew their family trained Pst. Jerry Eze!!!
Yeah, she’s now the first female V.C of Michael Okpara University, Umuahia, Professor Ursula Akanwa.
This is Master Chisom Unachukwu, the maths teacher from Evergreen schools Enugu.
His students took 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions for Junior Category for South East Maths Olympiad Grand Finale.
Retweet let's celebrate him!
This is Egejurum Onyedikachi.
He’s a brilliant little boy who won the SouthEast Maths Olympiad 2026 (Primary School Edition).
He is from Diamond Special College, Owerri, he came 1st out of over 11,500 participating students.

How many more Christians must be murdered in Nigeria before the world acts?
@POTUS has made clear that the killing of Christians in Nigeria must end, and there are clear steps the Nigerian government can take to show it is ready to prioritize keeping its own people safe, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Grateful to @HouseForeignGOP and Chairman Chris Smith for having me join this important hearing on the horrific persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
