No one should remain in detention simply because they cannot afford legal representation. Today, IA is free because justice was allowed to take its proper course. This is why OJDF continues to provide legal aid and defend the rights of vulnerable persons.

At Suleja Correctional Facility, Niger State, a man stood accused of theft with no legal representation. OJDF intervened, provided a Lawyer at no cost, and today he walks free. He’s vowed to start over. Justice isn’t just punishment, it’s restoration.
