One of the most brutal scenes in human history has been leaked.
Footage from an Israeli aircraft shows thousands of starving Palestinians running towards an aid truck, before it bombs and kills them all.
A video that the world must never forget.
Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ review:
ZZ is a unique series in this Gundam trilogy. Humor is employed in many parts of the series, but it also establishes that the same dark rules apply as the others. What I think ZZ uniquely has to offer is a more optimistic worldview.
I believe it’s important that you have both Zeta and ZZ. Zeta shows you the full extent of sadness and evil mankind is capable of, while ZZ shows you that the world is not without hope even in these dark circumstances.
This is embodied with the main cast, and especially Judau who remain stubbornly optimistic no matter what happens. When someone dies, they live on and persevere for them. They reject the mindset of the “lesser of two evils” mindset and look entirely for the good.
If Zeta reminds us about just how dark mankind can be, ZZ tells us how good mankind also can be. It shows us that happiness can still exist. Even in the darkest of parts, getting the chance to meet characters like Puru makes it all worth it.
The message especially is optimistic about future generations. It tells us if the older generation doesn’t poison the minds of the younger generation with their pessimism, they maybe able to overcome the sadness and cycle of hatred that’s been effecting us.
The series has a much happier ending than our previous installments. The majority of the main cast survives, and Judah sets off with Roux to begin a life away from war. It paints a much more hopeful picture of humanity, and I believe this expression is just as important as the bleak expression Zeta gives it.
The earlier half of ZZ is overhated. It kind of sets the tone that this is a different kind of series from the last season, and gives us a mental break after coming off a dark ending. It was pure fun, and getting to see the main cast first being normal and happy helps you to care about them when things get series.
My gripes are few. I don’t like or understand Puru Two’s fate in the scheme of the narrative, and especially don’t like how vague it’s left. And I didn’t think Emaly wanting to be a home wrecker for Bright added anything. There were a couple of imperfections here and there but nothing that was that big of a deal.
I personally would rate this anywhere between 8-9.5/10. And on MAL I gave it a 10/10 to help it’s unnecessarily low rating there,
I unfortunately need to raise €1100 for my citizenship until mid of May
