The @FIRSNigeria collected N12.37trn tax revenue in 2023 and has set a target of N19.41trn for 2024. The massive jump in collection showed that there’s headroom for higher tax revenue - if we do the right things.

The dilemma is how to raise higher tax revenue without increasing the burden on taxpayers, enabling businesses to thrive so that tax yield could rise.

On the achievement for 2023, FIRS surely deserve to be appreciated.
