I personally asked Rep Crockett if she would support the Stop the Bombs Act to end offensive military aid to Israel.

She pretended like she had never heard of it and asked her staffer to follow up with how she had supplied aid to Palestinians, which isn’t the same as stopping Israeli offensive funding for the IDF at all!

After tens of thousands had died it was unbelievably cynical to me.

Every time I brought this up and simply asked that she take the same stance as Talarico on this issue, many of her supporters tried to argue it didn’t matter, or they both were the same on this issue, or that I was a bigot for asking.

The Iran war and the genocide in Gaza are unbelievably horrible, and I hope Crockett’s loss in this primary will help her and others in Congress realize how Democratic primary voters are through hand waving away universal human rights and done with AIPAC aligned policies.
