I cannot agree with this piece at all: real Confucianism was not about blind obedience and Chinese eating practices have nothing to do with unhygienic food markets. The cause was authoritarianism and bad management, not bad culture.

After what sounds like a 14 hour airport ordeal, finally the Australian evacuation flight has departed #Wuhan (with 270 on board including crew, medical team). Passengers were told to arrive at 6pm and didn’t fly until 8 in the morning. This vid from Weibo user ��山水山水山.
