New paper out 🎺 introducing process-based measures of automatisation in L2
The elicited imitation task is widely used as a measure of automatized L2 knowledge. However, the scoring of the task relies exclusively on product-based measures (i.e., accuracy of L2 production).

Here’s @MackJustyna presenting our aspect training study: our error-correction model predicted faster and smoother learning for a grammar approach and slower and more variable learning for a lexical approach. Which type of learning deals with real language best?
If you are a UK Home student who would like to pursue a fully funded PhD with us @ooominds, please get in touch on [email protected]. We are accepting expressions of interest for applications to this year’s AHRC and ESRC doctoral schemes.

Excited to share that the paper I co-authored with Professor Aengus Ward @EstoriadEspanna has been published! 😀🎉 We explore how modern readers engage with medieval manuscripts using eye-tracking technology. Special thanks to @ooominds https://t.co/aTACYUle63
