Story time: How it feels in the mission control of ZK blockchain systems.

ZK is really deep and really beautiful mathematics. And its elegant and also complicated. So you have to be very good at what you do to get it right. If you fuck up there are consequences.

I remember working on a draft of the Proximity Gaps paper (the one that gives the state of the art theorems on this matter, and stated the conjectures that are now at the center of a $1M prize). We were staring at pages of formulas and I paused my brilliant co-authors -- Swastik Kopparty, Dan Carmon, Shubhangi Saraf -- to say: isn't it so cool that the math we're working on will go on to secure $Bs and a whole future economy?

So, it's a bit like being in mission control for one of those projects that humanity will be talking about in generations to come.
