This is EXACTLY what I think when I see blokes in Man Utd or Liverpool shirts stood on Bristol Parkway station to go up to watch the football.
If you’re from Bristol you support City or Rovers.
Dyer is bang on here.

Asking is the closest thing to a cheat code in real life as it has asymmetric payoffs: no downside, infinite upside.
If you ask and the answer is no, you're exactly where you started. If you ask and the answer is yes, you've gained something. The expected value of asking is almost always positive.
And yet we don't ask. Why?
Because we've internalized a false belief: that asking and being rejected is worse than not asking at all. We treat "no" as a punishment rather than as information.
But here's what actually happens when you ask for things:
• 40% of the time: They say yes
• 30% of the time: They say no, but suggest an alternative
• 20% of the time: They say no
• 10% of the time: They ignore you
In 70% of cases, you're better off than if you hadn't asked. In 20% of cases, you're exactly where you started. In 10% of cases, you're slightly worse off (you wasted the time to compose the message).
Once you internalize this, asking becomes automatic. Not asking becomes the thing that needs justification.
When you’re 5 years old, a year is 20% of your life. And when you’re 50 years old, a year is 2% of your life. This is an explanation given why time speeds up as you age. It's called Janet's law. It states you’ve experienced roughly half of your perceived by life by 20 years old. Or to put it another way: A summer holiday for a 5 year old feels as long as the 10 years from 40 to 50 years old.
But Janet's law can be broken with high agency.
You have agency over the speed time. You're not a passive victim. A better explanation of why time speeds up as you age is because you have fewer new experiences as an adult, so your brain deletes the memories. If you take agency over your life, do new things and create memory dividends, time slows down.
If you live your life on autopilot, you may die at 80, but feel like you died at 20 years old.
If you take agency over your life, you may diet at 80, but feel like you died at 200 years old.
Linked up with Guitaro in New York and caught some special energy. Adrianna came through on the violin, Kami sparked the inspiration, and then Nory pulled up mid-session so we could go back and forth and finish with a cypher. Only in New York...

Do you know that Urumqi in Xinjiang is the world's most remote city from the ocean? But look at this!
China has been investing massively in Xinjiang. Once defined as a border area, Xinjiang is now the central hub of Eurasia and the Belt and Road Initiative.
🚨I need friends from Egypt to find this missing Chinese girl.
Her name is Chi Guangying (nick name Fofo), she arrived in Cairo Egypt on August 6th 2025.
She last contacted her family in the morning of September 21st.
She's
🔴21 years old.
🔴165cm tall.
🔴weighs 45kg.
🔴She has several tattoos on her chest, arm and leg (see the photo in red dress).
She always loved history, so she went to Egypt after graduating from university to experience the history.
She lived around "Rehab street area" (direct translation), it could be Al Rehab Cairo, perhaps a Cairo local can shed some light.
She doesn't have many if any local friends and would usually only travel between local historic sites and her accommodation.
Please repost and if you have any info please contact the Chinese Embassy in Cairo Egypt.
(The embassy is aware of the missing case and is actively working on it).
🇨🇳 China is now deploying remote-controlled traffic cones that can close lanes in response to road accidents and to better manage car throughput and improve traffic efficiency throughout the day.
