This matter is related to Medanta Hospital, Gurugram.

Vikas had taken his sick army father to Medanta for treatment, who had fought enemies for the country in the Kargil War in 1999.

Vikas says, I had brought my father to the hospital for treatment through the panel.

The hospital should have charged the panel fees, but they took the normal fees instead.

After charging the normal fees, they started saying that an undertaking would also have to be given and began pressuring us for it.

The staff started misbehaving with us and then left.

Vikas says that since I have paid the normal fees and not availed the panel facility, then what kind of undertaking would I have to give?

According to the rules, ex-servicemen and their dependents should get cashless treatment under the government health panel.

It is alleged that Medanta Hospital refused to accept this panel.
