We have many educated people in Nigeria who still lack critical thinking, especially when it comes to governance and politics. Some choose to remain silent or refuse to report friends and family members involved in corrupt or questionable activities. At the same time, many Nigerians damage the country’s image through their behaviour abroad, particularly in Western countries, and then come online to blame the Nigerian government for their personal misfortunes. If we truly want progress, we must be willing to hold ourselves and those around us accountable.
