@toyofashola@theayoadams Do pepper seller still use lánbébé? I think it is being replaced by plastic ìgbáko… Got to know it from Olamide’s song with the same title
I have news, X family.
I’m happy (and emotional, the mushy sort) to announce that my book, How to Be a Good Wife and Other Stories, is now published and available.
This collection is very close to my heart. It's a collection of seven stories about love, loyalty, survival, relationships, and how women are taught to live.
I wrote these stories because I’m endlessly curious about people—why we love the way we do, why we stay in toxic relationships, why we hurt each other, why we forgive, and the stories we tell ourselves to make sense of it all.
To everyone who has encouraged me to write or read my stories on Teambooktu and the ANA Review and sent me compliments, thank you.
To everyone who has loudly rooted for me and cheered me on, thank you.
Errr... I have one small favour to ask:
Please share this post.
Please, buy a copy.
Read it.
Gift a copy to someone you love.
And, if you enjoy it, leave a review on Amazon.
Every purchase, review, recommendation and share helps this little book travel further than I can take it by myself.
I am incredibly grateful for your support as I send these stories, my babies, out into the world.

Thank you for believing in me
I am excited to introduce to the world my latest work, Life Less Abundant — an epic historical play that explores the crises in the Western Region of Nigeria in the First Republic, offering a broader perspective than previous accounts.
Out in July 2026. Watch this space.
@alexanderlinda_ Never read her. I used to be to be skeptical of her and Fatima Bala until I read the latter’s two books. She’s a fantastic author. Nwokedi is next…
