There are ways to look at outcomes from the patients perspective by using Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs/PROMs) if utilised effectively & systematically at the point of care using @open_Outcomes. I'm passionate about this. Have written a way forward ⬇️

This is absolutely how I feel it should be and I really couldn't have put it better! I definitely feel reassured that not only is it becoming clear that this is the way forward, but that it is exactly how we've designed and developed @open_Outcomes. https://t.co/9xkrjLsdIZ

Fantastic to see @open_Outcomes innovation showing real clinical, efficiency and cost savings benefits. We are live @SWBHnhs and keen to sustain funding going forward @Dudley_SWBCEO
The National #PROMs Network is very proud to have contributed expertise from different perspectives to aid the development of @open_Outcomes Not least, yet often forgotten, the point of view of those administrating a system. Fantastic to see that Digital Exclusion is addressed 👏
Yesterday a whole batch was printed in less than half the usual time of the manual process. Simply fold pages in half to have the address in the window - also saving costs of address labels. We are all delighted with this here in @NorthumbriaOrth#PROMs team.
We worked closely with administrators to develop this feature, aimed at easing the burden of giving ALL patients a voice by means of #PROMs
Patients can complete their questionnaires on a PC, tablet, smart phone or paper, as they choose.
The team is absolutely over the moon with this game-changing feature in @open_Outcomes ! Where patients don't complete #PROMs electronically, the print button produces covering letter, FAQ's & correct questionnaires - in seconds! Fits into envelope with address in right place...
Just read the shoulder section of this @JointRegistry report. Very disappointing pre-op #PROMs compliance but given it took us @NorthumbriaOrth a while to find a system that worked, I understand the issues.
I do wonder if allowing data to feed in would help e.g @open_Outcomes ?
