Under fire, the EC has blinked. It has ordered BLOs back to the doors in the 20 states and UTs where SIR is done, to add the genuine voters left off the rolls.

An EC official told TOI that an average of 10% of voters per booth were deleted in SIR. That is roughly 80 to 90 names in an average booth.

For months they called it a CLEAN-UP. Now their own officers are out on a SEARCH. India has a simpler word for both. THEFT.

A clean list never needs a search party. A stolen one does.

Rahul Gandhi said it first. Now the EC is proving him right, door by door.

मैं झारखंड में निर्वाचन आयोग की DG (IT) सीमा खन्ना के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज कराने जा रहा हूँ। हालिया खुलासों के अनुसार, इन्होंने ECINet और ERONet सॉफ्टवेयर के जरिए डेटा का केंद्रीकरण (Centralization) किया है।

इसके चलते स्थानीय चुनाव अधिकारियों (EROs) के वैधानिक अधिकार छीन लिए गए और वोटर लिस्ट से लाखों नाम मनमाने ढंग से गायब कर दिए गए। यह लोकतंत्र और चुनावी निष्पक्षता पर सीधा हमला है।

मैं तेलंगाना (@INCTelangana ), कर्नाटक (@INCKarnataka ), हिमाचल प्रदेश (@INCHimachal ), @INCKerala और तमिलनाडु (@INCTamilNadu ) से भी अपील करता हूँ कि वे अपने राज्यों की मतदाता सूचियों की सुरक्षा के लिए सीमा खन्ना पर तुरंत कानूनी कार्रवाई करें और FIR दर्ज करें।

बंगाल SIR: सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने कहा कि इलेक्शन रिज़ल्ट के बाद मतदाता सूची से हटाए गए 27 लाख लोगों में से केवल 7 लाख ने ही पुनः शामिल होने के लिए अपील दायर की. चुनाव आयोग के आंकड़े बताते हैं कि ये गलत है. असली आंकड़ा 22 लाख से ज़्यादा है.
