Many thanks to @nickingalls for all the work over the last few months to add support for parcels (among other data types) to the OpenAddresses ecosystem. He just added DC's parcels here: https://t.co/sttADh2CuS

The UK's street address data is one of our most important, and problematic, public datasets.

A great question from one of our community members:
"What's the best way to contribute missing addresses"
We wrote back with several different options for contributing open data including @openaddr
and @openstreetmap, and when to use them

@aimandel @UUDreams It sounds like you already got some pretty great answers, but yea: situs is the address of the parcel itself whereas the other address (usually the 'owner') is the mailing address of the owner (for tax purposes). It's different everywhere and some have one/both/neither.
@segheysens It'd be great to have more help with outreach! Please feel free to file some tickets on Github (https://t.co/iRo8n8Sajt) or reach out via email: [email protected]
My home state of Michigan is opening up address data that was only available for purchase, because of the flooding. Of course the @openaddr team is on the case.
Let's make sure this data is used for good, both during the flood recovery and after!

This person generates files with OpenStreetMap and OpenAddresses data merged together suitable for @osmandapp. It significantly improves searching by address: https://t.co/xwKBdGQPzo
